Almost everywhere it's possible to rent equipment. The best places are Amed, Tulamben, Menjangan island
on the north west, Nusa Penida, Lovina or close
to Lombok the Gili islands.
KITESURFING & WAKEBOARDING
At tanjung Benoa and Sanur. Equipment rentable on site.
RAFTING
Several professional companies run rafting tours on the Telaga Waja, the Unda
and Agung river.
PARASAILING
Bali Hai (tel 720331), the beach clubs in Sanur or tanjung Benoa can take you
parasail even to the near island of Nusa Lembongan.

TEMPLES
Tanah Lot, Uluwatu, Pura Jayaprana are the most well known costal temples.
Besakih is Bali's most important temple, Gunung Kawi is set in a ravine
in Tampaksiring, the temple <Candis> are carved in the rock, Tirta
Gunung Kawi is a water temple dedicated to the Rice Goddess, Tirtha Empul
is considered the holiest spring temple.
DENPASAR
Check the Kumbasari market in the center. Jl. sulawesi for his variety of
textiles. Jl. Gaja Mada for the handicrafts.
SANUR
Check the Pasar Seni, or the Sanur beach market.

Goa Gajah near Teges in the Gianjar area is dated 11th century and offer
some interesting carvings.
UBUD
Renowned for artist and painting, Ubud is the place to go if you want to
buy art. Check The Blanco Renaissance Museum and Genta Fine Art gallery.
EAST OF BALI
Sumbawa's tranquil beauty of jagged volcanoes, untouched pink beaches. Komodo
with his red coral beaches and the famous prehistoric dragon, Sumba known
for his ikat weaving and handicraft productions and Flores with his tri
colored volcanic lakes. Some of the island east of Bali are much larger,
isolated and unexplored.
